STAFF MEETING AGENDA — SEPTEMBER 1, 2026

ALL — UPDATED RESPONSIBLE USE POLICY (RUP)

Purpose • The updated LAUSD Responsible Use Policy reinforces the safe, ethical, responsible, and intentional use of District technology, digital resources, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies.

Required School Actions • Review the updated RUP with all students and staff. • Collect all required student and staff acknowledgments. • Implement the Parent Opt-In for Take-Home Devices process. • Maintain documentation of policy reviews, acknowledgments, and parent opt-ins. • Reinforce responsible technology, digital-resource, and AI use throughout the school year. • Establish responsibilities and a completion timeline for Soto Street.
