LA Unified recognizes April 25, 2025, as the national day for schools and communities to work together to create meaningful interactions for students between ages 8 and 18 years. The Take Our Children to Work Day program goes beyond mere shadowing of an adult. By sharing how they spend their workdays, parents/legal guardians/educational rights holders can exemplify the value of education and a balanced work and family life and inspire youth in setting their academic and career goals. Take Our Children to Work Day builds partnerships that educate and empower youth and adults toward personal and collective achievement.
